Our New Build Roofing Process

Rightway understands the importance of a well-executed roofing process for new builds. Our dedicated approach ensures that every project meets our high quality, durability, and aesthetic appeal standards. Here's how we do it:

Step 1: Consultation

The process starts when clients send us a set of architectural plans and ask for a quote on the service they require. In the case of new builds, we supply and install the roof according to the details mentioned in the architectural plans and extract any relevant information.

Step 2: Design and Planning

Using the wall dimensions, eave overhang, gable overhang, and pitch, we create a 3D model of the roof. The software we use to create the 3D model also quantifies the project for us.

The plans will also tell us what kind of roofing profile is required, whether there will be skylights and/or other penetrations, and what kind of flashings the architect wants to use to weatherproof the skylights and other penetrations. They also reveal if the building is situated in a seaspray zone and identify the wind zone it falls under, among many other factors.

Step 4: Project Commencement

We schedule your project and begin the preparatory work upon your approval of the proposal. Our skilled team ensures all materials and equipment are on-site and ready for a smooth start. We prioritise communication throughout this phase, informing you of our progress and any important updates.

Our experienced roofing professionals perform the installation phase using the latest techniques while adhering to the highest industry standards. Our focus on craftsmanship and attention to detail ensures that your roof is beautiful and built to last.

Upon completion of the installation, we inspect the roof to ensure it meets our rigorous quality standards and that we have executed all aspects of the project as planned.

Step 3: Quotation and Acceptance

At this stage, we can provide a quote. Once it is accepted, we hold a pre-let meeting to discuss when the builders will have the framing ready for us, how long the roof installation will take, where materials will be stored on-site, and any tasks where we might need to work with other tradesmen.

Ongoing Support

Our team remains available for future needs, including maintenance, repairs, or advice, even after completing the project. Our commitment to excellence extends beyond the installation process as we strive to ensure the longevity and performance of your newly built roof.
